Sand-filled and sand-dressed surfaces
Suited to tennis, football and hockey. Sand within the fibres improves stability and performance, but it needs keeping at the right level and free of contamination to drain and play properly.
Rubber crumb and sand infill
3G pitches combine longer synthetic fibres, up to 65mm, with performance infill for cushioning, stability and reliable play. They are used widely for football, rugby and multi-sport. Regular use contaminates the surface and can compact or unsettle the infill, affecting drainage, ball roll and player comfort.
Synthetic surfaces without sand or rubber infill
Non-infill surfaces still need specialist care. Dirt, dust, leaves and organic matter work into the carpet, regular use flattens the fibres, and moss and algae grow where moisture and contamination build up.
Macadam and tarmac courts, MUGAs and playgrounds
Durable and versatile, but weather and constant use build up dirt, moss, algae and vegetation. Left alone, that leads to blocked surface texture, standing water, faded lines and deterioration.
School and nursery play areas, landscaped areas and domestic lawns
Artificial grass outside the sports pitch needs looking after too. A professional clean and brush clears debris and moss, lifts flattened fibres and keeps it looking fresh, in play areas and gardens alike.
