Who we are
This website is run by Envirosport Maintenance Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13405468). Our registered office is 151 Eastbank Street, Southport, PR8 1EE. Envirosport Maintenance Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email info@envirosport.co.uk or call 01704 384 813.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our quote form we collect the details you enter: your name, organisation, phone number, email address, site postcode, the type of surface, the services you are interested in, approximate size, timeframe and any message you include. If you email or phone us, we keep a record of what you tell us.
Like all websites, our web host automatically processes basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use this to identify you.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
How we use it and why
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange an assessment of your surface, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and support the work. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract (Article 6(1)(b)), together with our legitimate interest in responding to people and organisations who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
We will not sell your information, and we will not send you marketing emails or texts unless you have separately agreed to receive them. You can opt out of any marketing at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the service providers we need to run our business, who act on our instructions:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and processes form submissions before they are emailed to us. Netlify is based in the USA; transfers are protected by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Our email provider, which stores the enquiry emails we receive.
- Our sister company, Envirolawn Ltd, only if you ask us about a new installation, so they can quote for it.
We may also share information where the law requires it. We do not use advertising networks or tracking services.
How long we keep it
If you do not go ahead with a quote, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep your details and maintenance records for up to 7 years after the work, so we can provide records for warranty purposes and meet our tax and legal obligations.
How we protect it
The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, the quote form includes spam protection, and access to enquiries is limited to staff who need it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or another organisation. To use any of these rights, email info@envirosport.co.uk. We will reply within one month and there is normally no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, so there is nothing to accept or decline. Fonts and scripts are served from our own website rather than third-party services. If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as SAPCA and Envirolawn. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they use your information.
